Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)
A public Australian company that operates Australia’s primary securities exchange. It has the responsibility for the supervision of real-time trading on Australia’s domestic licensed financial markets and the supervision of the conduct of participants.

Brokerage fees
A brokerage fee is money charged by a stockbroker for conducting transactions between buyers and sellers of shares.

The sustained increase in the cost of goods and services over time. Inflation rates are expressed as percentages. If inflation is 3 percent this means the price of goods and services we buy is 3 percent higher than the year before.

Ticker code
Anything traded on a stock market has an individual code that uniquely identifies it in an abbreviated form. Whenever you make an order to buy or sell you will need to know the ticker code for the instrument you want to trade.
